Moving to Brussels and transitioning from a teaching role to a blue book trainee position at the European Commission made me want to learn new skills. I got involved in mentoring and coaching programmes, formal and nonformal learning contexts, and digital platforms. My experiences showed me that learning new skills is not just a route to professional success, but also a pathway to a more fulfilling personal life.
