I had no formal qualifications when my business closed down, so I decided to follow a computer systems course with the co-EU funded Laois & Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB). As I progressed, I found my calling as a further education teacher. I’m now helping to support adult learners be their best selves with the adult literacy service. Sharing my knowledge with those who find themselves in a similar position to mine is a truly fulfilling experience.
