| I studied foreign language and literature, took part in international exchanges, learned about other cultures and taught Spanish at a vocational school. My dream was to live and work in a truly international melting pot – Brussels! The Blue Book Traineeship programme gave me entry into the European institutions and, 3 years later, I haven’t looked back. My work gives me the opportunity to build on existing skills and learn new ones every day while working with fabulous colleagues from all over Europe. The traineeship was my turning point – I went from being an educator to working on education policy, helping to shape the future of education within the EU. It makes me very proud. |
