After the war in Yugoslavia disrupted my plans for an academic career, I decided to dedicate myself to craft production and took a workshop in marquetry design. I loved that, by working with wood, I could have a direct connection to nature. Thanks to a government initiative, I now teach these same skills to the next generation to keep this art form alive.
