When I was out of work, I realised that I needed to develop my IT skills to increase my chances of getting a job. As a result, I enrolled in the project ‘Conect-As: digital social inclusion itineraries’, financed by Next Generation EU. The project aims to help people on minimum income improve their digital skills and learn how to navigate the public administration sites. By attending face-to-face support sessions, I gained confidence using the internet and learned how to carry out basic operations like sending emails and attaching files. Acquiring new digital skills improved my quality of life and gave me confidence. I am sure that my new skills will improve my job prospects and open the door to higher-level training.
