| I studied mechanical manufacturing because I enjoy design and working with precise machines. Although my vocational education and training has taught me new ways of working and has given me some very concrete tools, the best part of it was learning how to solve problems and work well in a team. After studying, I got a job at a big international manufacturing company and after my bosses saw how good I was at my job, they offered me the chance to further my education by studying mechanical engineering while working. Choosing a job that matches what you love can open up amazing opportunities. In 2023, I won a EuroSkills award and I’m now a Champion of Excellence, passing on my passion and inspiring others to study something they enjoy. |
