| I knew I wanted to pursue my passion for inventing and creating things so I enrolled in a three-year CAD training programme at CENFIM, a national professional development centre for the metalworking sector. I needed practical experience to launch my career and vocational education gave me the necessary tools. I’m proud that my passion and skills have landed me a job as an instructor at CENFIM, teaching at the very same centre that trained me and giving me the honour of inspiring other people to pursue an upskilling path. Outside of work, I’m still following my skills journey by studying mechanical engineering in the evenings at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. |
