After working as a kitchen clerk without a diploma, I decided that it was time for a change. With funding from Fongecif, I completed a professional baccalaureate for air-conditioning maintenance technicians at the Raspail secondary school in Paris and landed a job as a maintenance and air-conditioning technician. Two years later, I completed a Brevet de technicien supérieur (BTS) in maintenance of energy and climate systems.
