As an art teacher, it’s essential for me to practice what I’m teaching so that I can stay up to date with new methods and approaches. At the Vyzhnytsia Art School, we benefit greatly from an annual event - the ART Land Vyzhnytsia Festival of Creative Professions, which was supported by the European Year of Skills in 2023. Projects like this allow us to learn new skills for teaching and creative activities. During this edition, I went to workshops on woodworking, blacksmithing and weaving. Sharing ideas and learning together inspires me to supplement, improve and refine my curriculum.
