Becoming a mother made me realise that, if I’m going to be away from my kids, it has to be to do something meaningful. This led me to change career and pursue my childhood dream – becoming a pastry chef. After five years in the culinary world, my career took another turn when I decided to do a Master’s in teaching mathematics. It’s a challenge balancing family life and a demanding course, but I’m a firm believer that it’s never too late to learn and evolve.
