Although I enjoyed my previous career as an administrative specialist and researcher at the university, I found myself yearning for something more fulfilling. Parenthood made me realise that my career satisfaction directly influenced my overall happiness and well-being and I needed to address my need for growth. I looked for a career that would make use of my existing skills while presenting me with new challenges and opportunities for growth. I chose product design and enrolled in the UX Bootcamp with Elements of UI at InfoShare Academy. Thanks to the course, coupled with books and free online resources, I got a new job as a product designer at a well-known educational publishing house. Don't feel limited by choices you made in the past and don't hesitate to invest in your education and skill development – it's an investment in your future.
