Natalia Efremova is Bulgaria's National Coordinator for the European Year of Skills. She serves as a Deputy Director General of the European Funds, Programs, and Projects DG at the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. She is a member of the ESF+ committee. She was Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policies from August 2022 until June 2023, with primary duties in the areas of European affairs and funding for employment and social services as well as international relations.
Natalia has been involved in the management of the ESF Programme Human Resources Development for the past 14 years, focusing on the programming and implementation of measures in the fields of access to employment, vocational training, social inclusion, social innovations, and the DI process. She has been appointed as National Coordinator of the European Child Guarantee.
She holds two master degrees in Law from Sofia University and Finance.
