As a director, I want to understand what everyone in my unit does so that I can assist them if needed. To better understand web development, I participated in a three-month hybrid course at the Lifelong Learning Centre of the Economic University of Athens. This experience has enabled me to give clearer instructions to staff, speed up processes, and deepened my understanding of their workloads. My team also feels that their work is more seen and valued. It’s important to keep learning new skills. Apart from being a business asset, learning elevates the mind and soul.
