The ARIA is an EU CAP Network (CAP: Common Agricultural Policy) competition aiming to highlight and reward inspirational projects co-funded through the CAP. This year, the event celebrated inspirational projects co-funded by the CAP promoting lifelong learning, innovation and competitiveness within agriculture and rural areas.
Among ninety-two applications Eu CAP network’s experts selected 24 projects under four thematic categories related to the objectives of the CAP and a Popular Vote was open throughout the month of November 2023.
The winners were announced as follows:

Smart & competitive agriculture category: KoroKausi (Finland)

Socio-economic fabric of rural areas category: Regional cooperation project + Business + Employment (Spain)

Environmental protection category: The landscape farm (Portugal)

Rural stakeholder skills category: Local energy for farmer and citizen (Belgium)

Popular Vote: Urban Farm Doetinchem (Netherlands)
