Then get ready to Meet the Champions of Excellence – around 40 inspiring young people who’ll be sharing their pathways to success and showcasing their skills as part of a special event on 23 February. The event is co-organised by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee.

Meet the Champions of Excellence

When and where?

When: 23 February 2024, 09:00–14:00 CET

  • Experience skilled jobs through some live skills demonstrations by WorldSkills and EuroSkills Champions.
  • Explore a wide range of career possibilities from advanced robotics to flower art.
  • Compare and exchange ideas with others to become part of the positive change for the future of Europe’s economy and embody the European spirit.
  • Meet organisations that are developing skills for the labour market and learn about projects funded by the EU, for example the Centres of Vocational Excellence.
  • Have concrete discussions on skills and work with members of trade unions, business organisations and civil society organisations, some of them representing young people themselves.

PLUS: Hear why skills shortages in certain careers mean excellent employment opportunities for you!
