Real People, Real Skills: Help us find the Year of Skills heroes

About seven months through, the European Year of Skills has embarked on an extraordinary venture - "Real People, Real Skills" - a campaign set to illuminate the stories of people who have reshaped their careers and lives through learning new skills.

This is a call to action to all stakeholders and individuals! We are reaching out to you to help us find the real heroes – people whose stories can ignite inspiration and motivation. Do you know someone whose journey embodies the spirit of the Year of Skills? Someone who changed their life by learning new skills? Do you work for an organisation that supports people in gaining new skills? Share your story with us!

"Real People, Real Skills" offers a unique opportunity to showcase the life-changing impact of your invaluable work. Your story will find a platform through our website, social media channels, and will take centre stage during the closing event of the Year in spring 2024.

We have developed a user-friendly survey that we encourage you to fill in directly or to share with potential contributors via the survey link. Language is no barrier; we can provide a translated version in your preferred EU language.

The deadline for submitting these inspiring stories is March 12. Together, let's make "Real People, Real Skills" a testament to the power of skills development and a celebration of people who embody its essence!
