The EU CAP Network (CAP: Common Agricultural Policy) held a Seminar on skills and lifelong learning for agricultural advisory and training service providers on 21-22 February 2024 in Vienna, Austria.

To celebrate the European Year of Skills, Fondazione ECIPA decided to launch a discussion with those who have made skills a distinctive point and cornerstone of their success.
More than 3.5 million workers received training from 2,500 organisations under the Pact for Skills in 2022 and 2023, according to key results of the annual survey on the Pact, published today on the occasion of the Pact for Skills Forum.

The meeting brought together high-level representatives from ministries in charge of vocational education and training (VET) from 32 countries, together with the European cross-sectoral social partners, the European Commission, Cedefop and the European Training Foundation.
Organised by the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion (DG EMPL), European Commission, the first Pact for Skills Forum will take place on 21-22 March 2024 at les Ateliers des Tanneurs in Brussels, with livestreamed sessions online.

Trainees all over the EU will benefit from better quality traineeships thanks to new Commission proposals. They will improve and enforce working conditions for trainees, and ensure everyone can do a traineeship regardless of their socio-economic background or disability.
