I recently completed a year-long training course with the Red Cross. The project, called ‘Tandem’, combined three months of intensive coursework with nine months of practical experience and was focused on leisure activities for kids and teenagers. It allowed me to gain practical training in two organisations: one working with kids and the other helping refugees integrate into society. I learned digital skills and improved my English and now I feel more confident and prepared to look for a job. I recommend that people pursue vocational education and training paths and keep learning to stay relevant in the job market. |
