Comprehensive Skill Enhancement

What makes Generation different is that it focuses on developing a wide range of skills in a comprehensive way. Alongside technical training, participants undergo sessions focusing on employability skills and mindset cultivation, ensuring they are not just proficient in their technical roles but also equipped with the right attitude and aptitude for workplace success.

Real-World Impact

The success of Generation's initiatives is visible in tangible outcomes. The 2022 cohort underscores the programme's efficacy. With a graduation rate of 95% and impressive placement rates, Generation's impact is evident in empowering individuals to secure meaningful employment opportunities. Moreover, Generation helps people from different backgrounds, including many who are over 40 years old and have families to take care of.

A Spotlight on Solar Panel Installation Programme

The Solar Panel Installation Programme is a programme within the Generation’s portfolio. It was created after carefully studying the market and talking to employers. Generation found out that there were not enough skilled people to install solar panels. So, they made a special course that teaches exactly what the industry needs. This 13-week training initiative delves into the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of photovoltaic solar installations, catering to both industrial generation plants and individual self-consumption setups. Through technical trainings, non-labor internships, and Occupational Risk Prevention sessions, participants are prepared for the demands of the solar energy sector. In addition, participants enhance their employability skills and receive support until their integration into the job market.

Generation's commitment to skills development resonates profoundly with the objectives of the European Year of Skills. Through targeted programmes like the Solar Panel Installation Program, Generation is not just building careers - it's shaping a skilled workforce ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow's job market.
