I wanted to learn new skills to broaden my horizons and develop professionally so I took a course to become Communications Technician as part of the Fundación Secretariado Gitano's TánDEM employment and training programme. The programme was varied and I learnt practical and theoretical skills. It’s given me greater confidence in my abilities and I feel better prepared to face the challenges of the working world. My advice is to stay open to new experiences, set clear goals, practise consistently, and use a variety of available resources. Enjoy the process and celebrate every achievement on your learning journey.
