My whole life changed when I became a single mother at 17. Despite the challenges and needing to take a break from school, I pursued retail studies, balancing work with raising my daughter. A supportive boss guided me through a decade of learning – from completing high school through adult education to earning a diploma in finance studies. Since then, I’ve set-up a training centre and lead a multimillion-dollar company, while working with a foundation for sick children. Life takes unexpected turns, but determination will lead you to build a successful and fulfilling career, even as a young mother.
