| I graduated as an electronic engineer in the UK. After a few years working in the field, I realised it wasn’t for me. I was craving a job with more social interaction, so I decided to change. While at university I had already helped out at a nail salon and I decided to become a full time nails technician offering manicure and pedicure services. I took some training courses in the UK and later also in Belgium, where I have now settled down. Over the last 10 years, my new skills have brought me a lot of joy and happiness. I’ve opened my own business which offers nail care treatments to international clients. My work is varied and my clients interesting with social interaction guaranteed. What’s more, I simply love when someone, who came in stressed, leaves the salon relaxed and with a smile – it’s the best feeling. |
