| Since childhood, I've been fascinated by IT systems and loved playing video games. In school, I began learning the basics of networks, server management, IT security, and other key areas. When I took part in the EuroSkills competition, I developed IT infrastructures for imaginary companies, configured windows servers, and set up network devices and routers. I’m proud to say that I won a gold medal. It's been an immense honour to be recognised as a Champion of Excellence and to participate in the Meet the Champions of Excellence event. My VET training helped me acquire practical knowledge of real-life IT systems but, in IT, learning is never over. There’s always more skills and more knowledge to pursue – I never stop learning. I’d advise everyone to choose a career they are passionate about – it’ll take you a long way! |
