EUREStv - an excellent way to engage with European Citizens on the EURES services

Since COVID-19, EUREStv has been exploring new ways to improve the connection with European citizens and engage in a digital way. The project was implemented by UWV EURES in the Netherlands in cooperation with various jobseekers, employers, EURES colleagues, and Member States. It includes onsite reports, guests in the studio, and guests via video connection.

In 2022, EUREStv launched several episodes, which received lots of positive feedback. They focused on the Netherlands but were still relevant to issues and topics across the EU and EEA member states. After the success of this first edition, EURES decided to look ahead and continue the broadcast with more in-depth discussions, topics, and subjects that are of interest to all EURES members and partners.  They learned a lot from the experiences gained during season 1 and aim to continue to inform the audience about current topics and the opportunities that EURES services provide.

The first season of EUREStv gathered over 2500 views on their YouTube channel.  The website has gained more than 4500 visits in the past 12 months. It serves as an online broadcast platform where all the episodes are available.  All Member States are welcome to cooperate in an item for the show. Various Member States have shown increasing interest in possible cooperation that could benefit international labour mobility and provide information on different labour markets.
