| Due to growing up around artists, I have a colourful range of skills – clowning, animal training, breathing fire, juggling and many more! One thing that I did not learn when I was growing up was how to read and write. I decided to learn to read as an adult so I can support my children with their learning. The Grubinetz provides opportunities for adults to learn how to read and write and my progress has strengthened my self-confidence. Today, I am a puppeteer with my own puppet theatre and I write my stories myself! I think it’s important that nobody is afraid to seek support. Taking the first step might be scary but it's so worth it! |
