When I had problems getting my teaching qualifications recognised after moving from Venezuela to Spain, I decided to change directions. I took vocational training courses in gastronomy, bakery, and confectionary. Supported by Erasmus+, I had the chance to study in an artisan pastry and ice cream shop in Sicily, where I gained valuable skills. Now I’m setting up my own cooking academy, working on a family entrepreneurship project and continuing my training. Learning is a lifelong journey that keeps us active, happy, and young.
